Day One export to HTML

Turn a Day One export into one printable archive.

Windows and web exports do not provide bulk PDF. JournalFold creates a readable HTML file locally so you can search it, keep it or use your browser's Print → Save as PDF command.

How it works

  1. Open the official Day One JSON or ZIP export.
  2. Review entry count, date range, duplicate IDs and media warnings.
  3. Filter the entries if you want a smaller printable set.
  4. Download Printable HTML and open it in any modern browser.
  5. Choose Print → Save as PDF when a PDF copy is needed.

What stays private

Files and journal contents stay in your browser. Aggregate measurement excludes the archive, filenames, text, tags, dates, locations and search terms.

Important limitation

The printable HTML focuses on readable text and metadata. Use the Markdown archive ZIP to preserve matching attachments alongside open entry files.
